SponsorshipJobs is a UK-focused job board listing only roles from employers on the UK Home Office Register of Licensed Sponsors. Every listing we publish is cross-checked daily against the official Workers and Temporary Workers register, so applicants stop wasting time on roles where the employer legally cannot issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS). The platform also covers verified sponsoring employers in the USA, Canada, Australia and Europe, with country-specific filters for H-1B, LMIA, TSS 482 and EU Blue Card routes.
The UK Skilled Worker visa requires a CoS from a licensed sponsor, a minimum salary of £41,700 (or the SOC code going rate, whichever is higher), and an English language qualification at CEFR B1. The Health and Care Worker visa runs at a lower £25,000 threshold with no Immigration Health Surcharge and priority processing. We surface roles eligible for both, plus the 140,769+ entries on the Home Office register so you can verify any employer's licence status with one click.
Who hires through visa sponsorship in the UK
UK visa sponsorship cuts across every sector. The largest single sponsor employer is the NHS — most NHS trusts hold both Skilled Worker and Health and Care Worker licences and recruit nurses, doctors, allied health professionals and care workers internationally. The Big Four — Deloitte, PwC, EY and KPMG — all hold A-rated licences and sponsor across audit, consulting, tax, technology and risk. UK technology employers including Monzo, Revolut, Cloudflare, Octopus Energy, Wise, Deliveroo and the major UK banks (HSBC, Barclays, Lloyds, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley) sponsor at scale, with London concentrating roughly 35% of all UK sponsor licences in our database.
Outside London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cambridge, Bristol and Newcastle all have active sponsor clusters. Our city-by-city pages show which employers in each city currently hold sponsor licences and what proportion are actively hiring on the Skilled Worker route — useful when you're balancing visa eligibility against cost of living and commute.
How we verify every listing
Generic job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, Reed, Glassdoor) include "visa sponsorship available" as a self-reported tag — the result is that a large fraction of tagged roles say "no sponsorship" in the description. We verify differently. Each job published on SponsorshipJobs goes through three checks before it appears:
- Employer matched to the Home Office register. The hiring employer's legal name is matched against the published UK sponsor list. If there's no active licence, the listing is rejected.
- SOC code eligibility. The role's occupation code is checked against the Skilled Worker eligible SOC list (and the Immigration Salary List discount where applicable) so under-threshold or ineligible occupations don't slip through.
- Salary threshold cross-check. Listings under the £41,700 general threshold (or the lower thresholds for Health and Care, ISL, or New Entrant routes) are flagged or removed unless they meet a documented exception.
